Inspired by the Nintendo 3DS release Scrimmy Bingus & The Crungy Spingus, Newgrounds user sicklez published Scrimmy Bingus Family Edition on August 15, 2015. The game was developed by Crogus Interactive but originally never released. It is unknown how sicklez acquired this copy. The description of the game on Newgrounds reads: "find the bingus before lord zordog takes over!!" This mention of Lord Zordog may be either a joke or an honest mistake, as he does not appear in any games other than Yup, It's A Pup, which would not be released for another four years. A popular fan theory states that Zordog is actually present in the game, taking on the form of the clown Bingus in the fourth level. This would explain why an older Luckie makes a cameo appearance as a clown slayer in Yup, It's A Pup.
